I remember from a young age being very aware that Jesus loved me. I knew I wanted to live my life for him. I understood what he did for me and I felt His presence often and in very real ways. I have always known beyond a shadow of a doubt that there is a God and that I was meant to serve him. I was blessed to grow up in a wonderful loving Christian home with great parents. I found my closest friends and support group at church. I had a great youth pastor who would always tell me I was a leader and that God had big plans for me. Rebellion hits every person at least once in his or her life. Mine hit as a sophomore in high school and continued till December of my junior year of high school. I was 16 years old and I had not only problems with disrespect towards women but also towards authority. My love for God was distant and only there at all because my parents were faithful to bring it into our house and to bring me to church every Sunday. Something happened that December, however.
